” I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.” – Voltaire

This has not been the best of weeks but I am attempting to make the most of it. There have been some difficult conversations and a general idea that most people have no idea what the fuck they are talking about. Maybe it’s because I am in a research class but I tend to research things and sources all the time. Especially when an article or conversation is posted online. This is the internet, not everything you read is true, or half-truths mixed with lies to benefit one side. Even with articles posted about medical information. There is usually a link somewhere to the actual research article which many people never look at. They simply take things at face value and deem themselves educated and experts. It pisses me off.

I left Facebook this week. The profile is still up for Bean to play games, but otherwise I am not checking it and if someone needs me they can text or call me. I am done with the political bullshit and the general spread of lies. I am done with keyboard warriors telling me what I should and shouldn’t think, believe, and how to parent. I am on Twitter for Furious. I am on Snapchat for fun now and again. I do this blog and comment. Otherwise come see me or call me. I won’t lie, this is partially due to the election, but I have reached the point that I do not want technology taking over my life anymore and I am okay with that. I would rather enjoy my kids and work on myself than deal with this bullshit.

On a happy note, LaLa is doing amazing at her job and Bean is doing well with her medication change. We spend nights watching movies, coloring, and spending time together. It is a nice change now that I am unplugged. The only things I do is school and Furious. Otherwise I have no need to take away from them or me. I am quitting smoking, finally, and I am continuing to lose weight and thrive with my poetry and lyrics. I really need to get back into the song writing and singing. I miss it so much. But things always appear to come full circle and the bad things will pass while the good will flourish. Love Trumps Hate.

Onto the shit you came for!

Press Play: Dan turned me on to this group called State of Shock. They are friends of his family and are awesome, despite being disbanded. Their song Too Pretty is stuck in my head majorly. Also, check out Eminem – Campaign Speech and We as Americans. They say so much!

Popcorn Worthy: This week I threw it back to the classic, Gone With The Wind. What an amazing movie. I also watched We Need To Talk About Kevin which I had never heard of but what a fucked up flick. Check em out if you wanna!

Weekly WTF: I get no insurance bill and call my agent who says my car insurance is fine yet get a penalty fee and termination notice? This was your fault, not mine. This is the second time. I called the AG office and I filed a complaint with them and the BBB. I expect a fair resolution.

Coffee Chaos: Dunkins has a Crème Brule iced coffee that is to die for. I want one right now and I am obsessed.

Until next week….be good or be good at it!

    You’re always so happy!! 😀

By definition the anti-christ is not this big scary terrible thing (at first), but something or someone we all love so much. It convinces us how amazing it is AND THEN we find out. To me, Facebook is definitely it lol :).

I’m still in twenty one pilots mode

currently watching “I am Sam” and Daredevil season 2 (it’s so great to fall asleep to!

Next time Matt goes on a coffee run I am gonna ask him to pick me up that one!

Did you see my awesome air fried wings on the site? I swear I should do a food blog. We can call it “Yum” or “”

UPDATE: Went out and get the Crème Brule iced coffee. I added sugar which I should have done because a little too sweet but it’s gooooooooooood. Still no mint chocolate whatever the hell it was from 2 years ago that BB got me.

I thought about that after that I should have posted to NOT add sugar! I didn’t like the mint chocolate chip….Creme Brule!

I unfollow people from facebook that are always posting mud sling posts about politics, then I’ll go to their profile if I need a laugh about how mess up their point of view is. That is one the reason why this election this year was so messy. People will post things they agree with, not knowing if its true or not but will push their politic. And they are only thinking about them self, not thinking about others opinion, when people talk about politics in person they are more civil.
Good for you Sin for identifying what is toxic in your life and making steps on improving yourself.

State of Shock was the first band that saw that I was excited to see, been to other concerts before but I went because they are free so I don’t pay attention (State of Shock was free also) they said they usually dedicate Too Pretty to the females but they wanted to dedicate that song to everyone. They might just say that in every concert. It made me feel special and that might be the point make everyone feel special.

I am so so glad SOMEONE gets it! Facebook is so toxic lately and I just had to step back. Maybe I will return once things calm down but not for awhile. It is rather nice not worrying it other than Furious business and page control.

I am so glad you know the band!!!! I love them and was so happy Dan introduced their music to me. It is funny you comment on that song! That is why I love it so much. It makes me feel special and you should too! I love how bands can make us feel something. When I met Adelita’s Way the lead made me feel amazing when he held me stable and helped me into my wheel chair!

Great Blog Sin! I’m with you, down with Technology people use to bash. Keep it cool or keep off it people!

I love the popcorn worthy section, My Wife Loves Gone with the Wind

The environment is very toxic lately. So much hate brewing and it is scary. I may return when the emotions settle. Until then I am much happier off it. I already began my blog post for the week. It is a huge topic of conversation lately and the basis is….love one another. More positive than normal but I feel like I become more and more cynical. I like that we offset each other. I think our posts are so different, they compliment what the point of this blog is. Kudos to us for being so awesome!

Gone With the Wind is a phenomenal flick and one of my faves. I love watching the older movies. I admit, one other fave is Houseboat. The acting then was awesome. This week I watched a flick that had me enraptured for the full film. That is rare but you have to wait to see what it was. I will say, Jesse James was my husband in a past life. I adore him.
