THE GANG WAS ALL HERE SUNDAY
Not again, Damn its Monday and I think Seattle weather has come to stay in our neck of the woods, it’s been gray and rainy since last week but as we know, we need Monday to get back to Friday !
Well let me take a step back here to last Monday , WOW, what a day last Monday was, a lot of folks were off due to MLK Day so the Clubhouse nearly had full team attendance. The only member not there was on a work trip. The day kicked off early with Dutch and Eric at Dutch’s for a bit (SEE PIC ON SITE) then we all met at the Clubhouse. Early on you had Dutch, Eric and me doing the famous Pitcher Day at the Clubhouse. Eric and Dutch were both saying they weren’t staying long, both had work and errands to do. Well before they were able to leave another team member arrived but true to his word Dutch did leave, noting he would not be back, had errands and house work to do. Eric and I did question that saying you’ll be back Dutch, but he furiously (NO PUN INTENDED) said he would not be back. Eric changed his mind on his errands and hung around for the day. So the day progressed and as we thought, back in the door comes Dutch and he has X with him, NOW THE PARTY IS ON! So for the remainder of Monday we had Eric, Dutch, X and me along with another team member having one heck of a good time! Eventually my bride came and we hit a booth for date night, Eric had to go but X and Dutch still hung in there harassing me while I was in my booth. Later both of those lovely folks left, the bride and I finished dinner and off we went to end a GREAT MONDAY. Thanks to all who came out last Monday, it made a Monday great and we know how rare that is!
Well this Sunday The Clubhouse was rather crowded , BIG PAUL and A-A-ARON stopped in, some other folks I know stopped in as well so it wasn’t the typical quiet Clubhouse we know and love on a Sunday Funday but at least Dutch didn’t get a creeper near him this week. The team had full attendance Sunday, our teammate who was in CALI was back and in rare form, nobody was safe Sunday with him. On a sad note our Gal Cassie was feeling under weather on Sunday, you could tell by just looking at her she didn’t feel good but as she always does she fought thru it till 3 pm until BECK-BECK (CALL ME) came in to relieve our poor sick girl. Hope you’re feeling better today Cassie! The Sunday started with Dutch and I at the Clubhouse first, Dutch brought in some egg like muffins for the girls, he is always cooking up something (SEE PIC OF THIS CREATION ON THE SITE) . So Dutch and I were sitting there enjoying some tunes when all the sudden the radio cuts out and all we hear is a very loud squealing sound rattling thru the entire Pub. Our Gal Cassie leaped into action to try to get it turned off but she couldn’t figure it out. (SEE PIC OF A DISTRESSED CASSIE ON THE FLOOR ON THE SITE) . So our own Mr. Wizard of all technologies, Dutch, sprang into action. Dutch began checking wires, checking modes, but wait, not even Dutch could stop the squealing. Is all hope lost?, would we need to leave the Clubhouse? NOT SO FAST! Suddenly Dutch says something else is causing the noise, he scanned the room, pointed to the Judybox and yelled “unplug it!”. I unplugged the Judybox and the noise stopped! A Wonderful silence came over the bar much to our delight. I plugged the Judybox back in, it reset, and soon the tunes were once again flowing. So our Mr. Wizard of all technologies comes thru once again, well done Dutch. Soon the rest of the team arrived and it was on, as noted one of the member’s was busting everyone balls, nobody was off limits and man was he a riot, he had us laughing. Well the day was winding down so around 4pm the little voice in my head started telling me it was time to go home. So Dutch, myself and another teammate paid our BECK-BECK in full and headed out, the funny part of this was I noticed Dutch left his phone on the bar. I grabbed it, ran outside ready to bust Dutch’s Balls about him leaving his phone. As I was about to begin my show one of our teammates opens the door of the Pub and yells to me, “Hey Frank you left your wallet in here “. So as you can imagine, I really couldn’t give Dutch grief for leaving his phone if I left my wallet, it was pretty funny.
On an odd note, I have spoken about the delivery guy for the Clubhouse a few times in the blog, we call him the White T . Well as the day was winding down we noticed an officer of the law parked outside the Clubhouse, typically not that unusual they do that a lot. We noticed the law was speaking with a woman and suddenly the law pulled up in front of the Clubhouse. Suddenly we are told the White T had an argument with this lady while delivering her meal and allegedly tossed the food at her? Normally we would say no way that happened, but we are talking about the White T so it’s possible. As I was leaving the officer and lady were at the Clubhouse door talking and White T was in the Clubhouse so I’m not sure the outcome of the incident, did the White T really toss food? Did he get tasered? I will investigate and let you all know next week

MUSIC NEWS – Scary incident, radio in the Clubhouse went rogue and was squealing but Dutch saved the day. Otherwise Tunes were background noise to our chit-chat and football.
FOODY NEWS – Last Monday night I had a chicken cheese steak hoagie with bacon, mushrooms, lettuce and tomato! BIG THUMBS UP! Monday one of the guys at the Clubhouse brought us all loaf’s of what we call swirley bread and a bag of cookies, THUMBS UP! (see furious site for photo of the bread and cookie pile) . Other than the Egg like muffins Dutch brought in no food was had Sunday.
PARTY NEWS – Eric’s has confirmed his annual party will February 26, I think we are still working out food and beverage a bit.
